SMUGGLING ROUTE

It is a circular route of about 11 km that joins two cross-border towns, Tourem and Randín. They always had common experiences like smuggling that will always live in the memories of people.

This route tries to restore one of the oldest smuggling routes existing in Galicia and Portugal.

THE PRIVILEGED ROUTE

The Mixed Reserve had a privileged route that crossed it communicating Randín mountain ranges in Spain and Tourem in Portugal. It was an area of about 6 km, delimited by stone boundary posts with several signals, especially crosses. This way had a commercial movement aim for Spain and Portugal, especially roaming about Spanish land. All along the route nobody could be caught or seized the goods he carried, included the smuggling ones.
